Do you want a leak free roof?
Has the sealant on your roof be warped by the sun and is no longer creating a waterproof seal?
GRP (which stands for Glass Reinforced Polyester) or fibreglass as it's better known, is the answer to a leak free roof. It has been around for many years and has a multitude of uses. Although the process has changed over the years, today's cold-applied systems are durable and cost-effective. It is not uncommon for roof work using fibreglass to last more than 30 years and still be effective.
Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) is made of a mix of polyester resin and chopped strand matt glass fibres, these are then blended to form a laminate. It has become one of the most popular forms of flat roofing systems as it's not only strong and durable, but is also lightweight and doesn't place too much stress on the surface structure.
